Frauenkirche Dresden

On my last trip to Dresden, I finally got to visit the Frauenkirche, one of the most famous churches in Dresden, in the middle of town. I’ve been to Dresden before, but every time I wanted to visit this church, it was closed of for visitors, because of an event (lots of people get married here). Even now I only got in, visiting a worship service. As my mom would say: “That won’t make you a worse person.”

During  the service the church organ was played with Bach music. A big organ in a huge church, which makes the music very spectacular. Afterwards somebody told us a short version of the history of the church. How it was torn down, build up and some details about the altar and the style of the church. Very interesting. Definitely worth it.
